Old-Style Goodness

Now I like this a lLOT better than my other pizza drawing. This one was actually done on a much tinier scale...2"x3" on a piece of cardboard, to be precise. Why, you ask? Well, at the very end of my senior year all the AP art students in my class made little autographed greeting cards for each other, and since I love pizza I thought this would be fun. I felt inspired to make this because I remember paying a visit to a brick-oven pizzeria in Brooklyn, New York while visiting my aunt and uncle a few years ago. BEST. DAMN. PIZZA. I'VE EVER. EATEN. This was a good example of why some old-fashioned things are the best. It makes me sad to think that there are very little authentic brick-oven pizzerias like this one around anymore.
